This Red Bull plane was being assembled in the middle of Times Square and reminded me of James.  He’s wanted to make his own plane/falling apparatus for entry in the Red Bull Flugtag for a while, but it will have to wait for at least another two years due to his Peace Corps obligations.  2012 Flugtag here we come!

Our group of 5 watched the Mets vs Phillies in a Tuesday night game at Citi Field.  It is a really nice stadium, even if it took half an inning to find our left field seats (come on seat helpers!). They say root for the home team, but we still sang the 7th inning stretch for the Cubbies.  The Mets won 8-0 in under 3.5 hrs in a spirited effort by journeyman knuckleballer R.A. Dickey, just to spite Brad’s game-length prediction.
